Meet Dr. Lorena Lee

Dr. Lorena Lee - Acupuncturist in San Diego

Dr. Lorena Lee was born and raised in the heart of Chinatown in New York City. Growing up as a Chinese American, Lorena has been nurtured with Eastern and holistic medicine as part of her culture. She comes from a lineage of herbalists where her great-grandfather was an herbalist in Canton (Guangdong), China and taught her grandmother to care for the family practicing herbal medicine.

 

She worked her way up in prestigious companies on Wall St. showing exceptional drive and dedication. Even though she was successful in her career, helping others was her real passion and she felt like her job in finance wasn’t her true call. She started volunteering for nonprofit organization but the breakthrough in her life came thanks to an Acupuncturist that was treating her for work related stress and martial art injuries. Her acupuncturist inspired her to change her career and follow her passions and she has never looked back ever since.
